Flat plans just below Lows Peak, after climbing up rock slopes from Sayat Sayat hut

Sunrise at Lows Peak, 13,000 ft above sea level (4092 m)

Sunset over Laban Rata base camp, 10,800 ft above sea level (3272 m)

i survived Mt Kinabalu :)

and it was one of the most amazing things i've ever done. 2 days ago I was at Low's Peak at 13,455 ft above sea level, highest peak in South East Asia. literally crawled on my hands and knees the last 2 - 3 meters to the summit.

and the view was amazing. the mountain itself is amazing, the first glimpse of it you see climbing the trail up to base camp at Laban Rata gives you the motivation and drive you need to keep going.

will detail the story out later...

ok fine so kinabalu ain't the hardest mountain in the world to climb, but hey i'm not exactly mr triathelete am I?

oh and i went diving .. considering that I can't swim and have a morbid fear of being underwater due to that. i think i did pretty well, we went to 5 meters

ok more later
