Haven't blogged in a while, been very lazy. i make no excuses

SO .. today's topic is, the US presidential elections.

Also known as, the biggest joke of the decade that put possible the worst president in the history of that esteemed nation in the Oval Office for a second term. Apparently 2 wars and a 3 trillion dollar deficit wasnt enough.

Or was it more .. i remember reading somewhere something about turning a USD 5 trillion projected 10-yr surplus into a projected USD 5.2 trillion projected deficit. And of course its our problem too, read what i said below somewhere here .. and aside from that, the IMF concluded that "large U.S. fiscal deficits also pose significant risks for the rest of the world. A 15 percentage point increase in ratio of U.S. public debt to gross domestic product over the next decade would raise real interest rates by an average of one-half to one percentage point. The adverse effects of U.S. deficits would spill over into global investment and output."

You wanna know what the problem is:

a) Who the %^&%#* is John Kerry
The fact of the matter is John Kerry wasn't a good competitor against the bumbling president. After all, who is Kerry to the average American, who probably hasn't heard that name ever before the presidential campaign. On top of that, he's not a strong candidate, he lacks strong charisma, he keeps changing his mind and he moves his hands too much. Heck, the only reason you'd vote for Kerry is because you don't want to vote for Bush. And how well-known and flamboyant a (or lack of being thereof) Kerry was is of utmost importance because ...

b) Democratic Elections are all about celebrity-hood
Well, the US elections anyway. The fundamental flaw with democracy is that it assumes that the people are making, intelligent, informed decisions in how to apply their say. Some of which did, which explains why the Democrats got most of the cosmopolitan states (or more specifically, the cosmopolitan cities in the cosmopolitan states) .. the entire west coast (california, washington, etc), northern midwest (illinois, michigan, etc), and entire northeast (new york, mass., etc). Unfortunately, a large portion of the american population aren't so smart and aren't so un-redneck. And so here comes Georgie Boy Bush, all-american redneck warmonger carrying the popular name of former president George Bush. And on the other hand you have Al Gore? John Kerry? Come on!!!

Its all about celebrity-hood (good or bad apparently). Heck, if William Hung ran for president, he'd probably win too. And don't worry about the country, cuz while standing on a 20 trillion dollar deficit he'll just say how he tried his best and has no regrets and women will throw themselves at him begging to suck his wiener. Who cares about intellectual and leadership capabilities right.

And no, the American people have NOT spoken, all the 2% majority implies is that the American people are divided.
